Four drivers from four states were represented in victory lane Saturday as the 2nd Annual USRA National Championships wrapped up at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan.

The Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., hosted the second night of the 2nd Annual USRA National Championships Friday night with a near-perfect track surface producing outstanding battles throughout the show.

After a one-hour rain delay to kick off the 2nd Annual USRA National Championships Thursday, more than 150 drivers in three classes circled the Lakeside Speedway for 266 laps in less than four hours, and three of those drivers emerged as opening night winners.

The 2nd Annual USRA National Championships takes place this Wednesday-Saturday, Oct. 14-17, at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., with a practice session Wednesday night to get things started.

The 2015 race season officially came to a close on Friday night at the Lakeside Speedway with Kerry Davis (USRA Modifieds), Brett Heeter (USRA Stock Cars) and Ed Noll (USRA B-Mods) earning track points titles.

A slew of sponsors have offered their support for this year’s 2nd Annual USRA National Championships which takes place next Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 15-17, at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan.

Monday, October 5, is the final day to get entered for the low early bird price for the 2nd Annual USRA National Championships which takes place Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 15-17, at the Lakeside Speedway.

Several top notch aces came to compete Friday at Lakeside Speedway. When it was all said and done, nobody was more excited than the winner of the Joe Berry B-Mod Showdown feature who went home with $1,500.

The 2015 USRA Weekly Racing Series is nearing the final lap, and the quest to become one of four USRA national champions gets hotter and hotter as the finish line gets closer and closer.

This coming Friday, Oct., 2, the Lakeside Speedway will host the inaugural Joe Berry B-Mod Showdown featuring USRA B-Mods racing for $1,500 to win and no less than $110 to each of the 24 starters.

The 2nd Annual USRA National Championships takes place Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 15-17, at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan. The entry deadline for drivers is Oct. 5.

The meat of the show at Lakeside Speedway Friday was supposed to be the Lucas Oil MLRA Late Models, but in the end the excitement on the night was turned in by the USRA Weekly Racing Series classes.
