Under budget can some times be an understatement. Friday night at Lakeside Speedway the USRA Modified feature was a battle of David vs. Goliath (if you want to believe that).

Kevin Anderson and Chad Clancy claimed their respective feature wins Friday as the USRA Iron Man Challenge invaded the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City.

The staff at the Lakeside Speedway hit a home run with the racing surface on night 2 of the season and it showed as the racing was spectacular on Friday, April 15.

A record 228 people attended Saturday night’s annual USRA Awards Banquet in the Star Pavilion located at the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City as the USRA closed the curtain on the 2015 season.

Entering its seventh season, the USRA Holley Iron Man Series once again features a combination of both new venues and familiar facilities at 18 of the finest dirt ovals in Iowa, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota and Missouri.

The USRA closed the curtain on the 2015 season Oct. 25, and with points tallied and audited, the USRA has officially crowned four drivers from four states as 2015 USRA National Champions.

The Lakeside Speedway champions banquet to honor the top 10 drivers in each of the three USRA Weekly Racing Series classes and top 8 in the Grand Nationals will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12.

The USRA will celebrate the accomplishments of the dedicated drivers, along with their families and crew members, at the annual USRA awards banquet on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City, Mo.
