It looked like things were going south for Lakeside Speedway Friday night when a shower popped up and threatened the cancellation of racing. Good thing for the crew at Lakeside Speedway they were ready.

It was a new beginning at Lakeside Speedway on Friday night. Cold weather, rain and other elements played games with the staff, but in the end the track was ready to go.

The Marrs and Johnson families have entered into an agreement for the transfer of ownership of the Lakeside Speedway to the Marrs family beginning in 2015.
