American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series results for Friday, Sept. 11, from the Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kan.

John Allen was tenacious in tracking down Jess Folk Jr. to win the USRA Modified feature Friday night at the Humboldt Speedway.

Ryan Whitworth has won his fair share of Modified features over the past few years, all in places other than his actual "home" track (he actually lives on the grounds), Humboldt Speedway.

Friday night racing at the Huboldt Speedway was intense, as it always is at 'The Hummer.' Tuning up for next week's USMTS extravaganza, John Allen racked up the win in the USRA Modified feature.

Justin "Whitey" Folk once again did what he does so well: blasting off at the green flag and waving good-bye to the rest of the field as he captured the USRA Modified feature Friday night at the Humboldt Speedway.

After fighting off the entire Folk racing clan and leading the USRA Modified feature for 11 of 16 laps, Brian Bolin smacked the wall on the outside of turns 3-4 and put an end to his hopes of winning.

John Allen once raced at the Humboldt Speedway when he was too young to drive the streets. Allen has no problem getting that license now, and has a license to fly as well, it seems.

With Scott Daniels firmly in control at the checkers, Justin "Whitey" Folk clawed his way from 10th to second. Jess Folk Jr. was third while Dennis Bishop, who got clobbered in a wreck last week, re-organized and came back for fourth.

When the top-10 re-drew for the feature, Justin "Whitey" Folk came up with outside pole. Problem? To his left was Jesse Stovall, who's nothing short of lightning quick; hard to beat even when you know what your car's going to do.

It doesn't seem possible, but Humboldt Speedway is halfway through the '09 season. Congratulations and well done to the mid-point king of USRA Modifieds, Justin "Whitey" Folk.

It's been a tough year for Rodney Sigg, who would have no luck at all, it seems, if it wasn't bad. However, on this night the gremlins were in full blown retreat and Sigg was the king of the 27-car USRA Modified field.
