It has been a rough year at the Humboldt Speedway for Johnny Bone Jr., but a wire-to-wire USRA RHS Modified feature win on Friday certainly had to boost the Pea Ridge, Ark., driver's spirits.

Beginning the weekend of Friday and Saturday, May 7-8, starts the USRA RHS Modified Challenge at the Humboldt Speedway and Caney Valley Speedway. Any driver winning events at both Humboldt and Caney on consecutive nights will win a $250 bonus.

In five weeks of racing there have been five different winners in the USRA RHS Modifieds at the Humboldt Speedway. Now that's some competitive racing!

The climax to a great evening of racing Friday night at the Humboldt Speedway was the USRA RHS Modified feature. Justin “Whitey” Folk led the race for a long period, being hounded all the while by John Allen.

With rain that canceled Friday night's races, drivers were geared up to put on a heck of a show on Sunday at the Humboldt Speedway. Chris Deaton from Wann, Okla., was definitely the fastest car in the USRA RHS Modified division.

Polesitter Matt Collins started out on the pole of the USRA RHS Modified feature, but after two laps Jess Folk Jr. took over the lead and never looked back for the rest of the 18 laps, claiming his first 2010 feature win.

Six-time track champion Justin “Whitey” Folk of Iola turned in a stellar performance in the USRA RHS Modified feature and once again showed that he will be a dominant force at ‘The Hummer’ this year.

The last race at the Humboldt Speedway for 2009 may have been the best yet. With big money at stake, USRA Modified drivers pulled out all the stops Saturday night and absolutely wowed the fans.
