For nearly three decades, it's been an offseason gathering spot for area auto racing enthusiasts to swap stories, pay tribute to their heroes and look ahead to the upcoming season.

Long-time Southwest Missouri sports journalist Lyndal Scranton has been named Public Relations Director for Lucas Oil Speedway, track General Manager Dan Robinson announced on Wednesday.
