Following a couple of rainout events and great USRA Modified racing the weeks before that, the Midway Speedway will get back into action this Friday night, June 13, with a $1,000-to-win USRA Modified feature. A strong field of cars is excepted.
The scheduled racing action for Tuesday night at the Midway Speedway in Lebanon, Mo., has been cancelled due to the heavy rains that fell in the Lebanon area on Sunday and Monday night.
With Friday night's racing action postponed due to weather, the Midway Speedway will be running a regular points race on Tuesday night, June 10. Gates will open at 5 p.m. with racing at 8.
With close finishes and tight races, along with several new winners each week, the racing action at the Midway Speedway in Lebanon, Mo., will continue Friday night, June 6, with the regular points show for all classes.
The special Saturday night, May 31, events were lost due to torrid rains just after the first heat hit the track. The event will not be rescheduled at this time.
Despite threating skies, 109 race teams checked into the pits Friday night at the Midway Speedway. In USRA Modified action, 2006 champion Tony Jackson Jr. and Danny Atkinson brought the field down to the green with Jackson grabbing the early lead, but Rex Merritt took over the lead as the pack headed into turn 1.

The action Friday Night at the MidwaySpeedway will find not only drivers competing for valuable track points, but also all military with a valid ID will be getting in for FREE in the grandstands.
