The green flag unfurled for the first time as the Central Missouri Speedway began its 2017 race program with 22 Out-Pace USRA B-Mods and 21 USRA Modifieds on hand for competition.

The 2017 racing season will see some new champions and additional points funds and contingency awards available for drivers competing in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series.

The 2017 season begins this Saturday, April 15, at the Central Missouri Speedway. Drivers and fans will be greeted to a revamped track surface as 40 loads of clay were added after last season.

In less than two weeks, owners Earl and Susan Walls usher in their 22nd year of operating the Central Missouri Speedway with USRA Modifieds and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods on tap.

Beginning in 2017, Summit Racing Equipment will be the title sponsor of the USRA Weekly Racing Series, and The World’s Speed Shop™ will be the Official High Performance Source of the USRA.

The countdown to the 2017 Central Missouri Speedway race season continues and it is time once again for drivers to register for the coming season for the track’s weekly race divisions.

Central Missouri Speedway and Lakeside Speedway are just days away from celebrating driver accomplishments from the 2016 season at the combined championship banquet Nov. 5.

The combined Lakeside Speedway and Central Missouri Speedway championship banquet will be held Saturday, November 5. Share the night together with your racing family from 6-12 p.m.

The 2016 race season at Central Missouri Speedway officially came to a close Sunday evening for night two of the annual Labor Day special event weekend.

Night one of the Labor Day Weekend at Central Missouri Speedway is now in the books and after all was said and done, Chad Lyle drove to the win in the USRA Modified main event.

The final weekend of racing at Central Missouri Speedway is just a few days away with back-to-back nights of blockbuster racing events on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 3-4.

Jim Moody of Odessa claimed his second USRA Modified feature in a row and fourth of the year and now becomes one of the favorites for the $3,000-to-win Labor Day special event Sept. 4.
